the process

Choosing a Date! After we choose a date, I'll send a booking proposal over so that you can review your collection and pay your deposit. A 30% non-refundable booking fee will reserve your date, with the balance due on the day of your session.

Choosing a Location! We will work together to choose a location to help bring your vision to life. I am always up for any ideas that you have, but am also happy to recommend locations that I am familiar with and that I know photograph beautifully.

Planning and Styling!  I will send over an online styling tool to help you plan outfits and accessories for your session. As a mom, I understand that planning and coordinating outfits for multiple people can be a HUGE stressor when planning a photography session, and I am here to alleviate that pain in any way that I can. In addition to the online styling tool, I am always happy to provide additional guidance and help you narrow down your final selections. Outfits should coordinate, but not necessarily match, and narrowing down a few colors that pair nicely together is a great place to start!

Day of!  On the day of your session, I will help guide, pose and prompt your family. I love to focus on your candid interactions with one another as well as mix in those traditional, posed "mantle hanger" images. My primary goal is to reflect who you are as a family, and the love between each of you.

Gallery Delivery! After your session, you will receive your online gallery full of beautiful digital proofs so that you can make your final selections. You will have the option to purchase additional digital images, professional prints, canvases and other products right from your gallery. The best part? Your gallery stays active for an entire year, so you can come back again and again to download and purchase without feeling pressed for time!
