Welcoming Baby G

About three years ago, I met Dalton and Karli for the first time at their engagement session. It doesn’t take long after meeting these two to figure out how much they love and care about each other. In an unfortunate turn of events, these two had to cancel their wedding at the height of the pandemic and ended up eloping with just a few of their closest friends and family. I also just found out from Karli that there ended up being a tropical storm as well, which just speaks volumes about the strength of this couple, even when life throws the unexpected at them.

Fast forward now, and they are preparing to welcome the sweetest babe earthside next month! And what would their maternity session be without a wrench thrown into the plans LOL The severe flooding of the river left us unable to access our spot at the river for the “beach” session that Karli envisioned. As soon as she texted me, I hopped into my car in search of a suitable location, that gave her the same vibe, and that wasn’t under water.

In addition to this beautiful spot, we were able to hop right over to a nearby flower field, and snag some amazing shots of these two while they prepare to welcome their sweet baby. I always love when you guys are up for adventures and humor me with all of my ideas, because that is usually when the magic happens. I mean, SWOON!
