When Jordan reached out inquiring about some last minute family photos while her family was in town, I immediately knew I had to squeeze them in. Even with their traveling time crunch, and my crazy Spring schedule, we somehow were blessed enough to make it work, and I am just so darn happy about it.
Jordan’s mom, dad, grandma, boyfriend and sweet puppy, Cooper joined her in celebrating her Law School graduation with a family session while the whole clan was in town and together.
Please, get in the frame, and just love your people in front of my lens. I promise one day, the images will be the most valuable thing that you have. This isn’t a sales pitch—it’s my own honest to God personal experience. After losing my dad last year, I cling to the photos I have of him, especially the ones of us all together. They are the most important things that I own, aside from videos of him and saved voicemails.
These photos aren’t even of my family, and I still know that they’re such a treasure. As mom, dad, grandma and boyfriend all came together to celebrate Jordan’s law school graduation, I know we were also just celebrating the love and memories between this sweet family. What a gift it is to be let into your lives like this.
