Just four months later, those three little words were uttered—and the rest, as they say, is history.

As the excitement of the big day kicked off, Kellsie and her ladies gathered at Pure Hair and Beauty Lounge to get ready in style. The space was nothing short of dreamy — a spacious black and white studio with soft greenery accents and a flood of beautiful natural light that set the perfect tone for the morning. The talented girls at Pure Hair and Beauty Lounge made everything seamless, ensuring Kellsie and her crew were pampered and relaxed.

The atmosphere was full of laughter and anticipation as the girls sipped their coffee, shared stories, and got glammed up. From hairstyling to makeup, every detail was carefully crafted, and the energy in the room was nothing but positive. The Pure team’s attention to detail and expertise created a warm, welcoming vibe that perfectly matched the excitement of the day ahead. It was more than just getting ready — it was a celebration in itself, setting the stage for the unforgettable moments that would follow.

After a morning of pampering, Kellsie and the girls headed to the Axis Hotel, just down the street from the University Club, where Tyler was also hanging out with his crew. With its clean, modern aesthetic, the Axis Hotel always provides the perfect backdrop for photography, offering a sleek, sophisticated feel that enhances every shot. The bridal suite, in particular, is a standout. Bathed in natural light, it’s spacious and thoughtfully designed, making it an ideal setting for capturing those timeless, beautiful moments.

Kellsie and the girls returned to the hotel for a quick bite and to get dressed for the big day. The relaxed atmosphere allowed everyone to take a deep breath, focus on the final touches, and soak in the excitement of what was about to unfold. As the final details came together, the room glowed with anticipation, and the stage was set for Kellsie’s unforgettable walk down the aisle.

Kellsie and Tyler are loved by so many, and it was so special to see their families surround them with support and joy. Kellsie has three sisters and a bonus sister, and they definitely kept the day lighthearted and full of fun. One of the funniest moments came when they were reading Kellsie’s wedding newspaper, which included a little mention of getting their cat a sibling after their honeymoon. Kellsie’s sister joked, “THAT COULD BE TAKEN SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS!!!” Whether it’s a cat or a human, we’ll have to wait and see!

With its stunning mix of exposed brick, industrial charm, and huge windows letting in the most beautiful light, the venue felt like a perfect blend of modern elegance and timeless warmth. The high ceilings and open space gave everything a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe, and the natural light from those big windows created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It felt like the kind of place where love could bloom—and it absolutely did.

A truly unforgettable moment of the day came when Kellsie walked down the aisle. Tyler’s reaction was so incredibly sweet and emotional. As soon as he saw Kellsie, his eyes widened in awe, and he gasped, clearly overwhelmed with the beauty of the moment. He bent over to catch his breath, and the tears started to flow. It was such a raw, heartfelt moment—one that showed just how deeply he loves her. I’m so glad I was able to capture that perfect, emotional reaction.

One of my favorite details of the day came from Kellsie’s first-grade students. On each reception table, there was a framed piece of advice from her class, and some of the answers were absolutely hilarious. “Why do people get married? To have more money.” And “How to make her happy? Feed her snacks.” Honestly, kids are the best—so full of wisdom and laughter!

The night ended with dancing, drinks, and a super fun balloon photo booth that captured all the joy and energy of the evening. As a wedding photographer, there’s nothing better than capturing real moments of happiness, and Kellsie and Tyler’s day was filled with them.
